Operatic tenor Andrés Lasaga holds a Bachelor of Music from New World School of the Arts and a Master of Music from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music. He has performed a wide range of leading tenor roles, including Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni), Tom Rakewell (The Rake’s Progress), and Peter Quint (The
Operatic tenor Andrés Lasaga holds a Bachelor of Music from New World School of the Arts and a Master of Music from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music. He has performed a wide range of leading tenor roles, including Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni), Tom Rakewell (The Rake’s Progress), and Peter Quint (The Turn of the Screw). His credits include collaborations with the Florida Grand Opera Chorus, The Master Chorale of South Florida, and a solo debut with the New World Symphony, as well as performances in Salzburg, Austria. A composer as well, he has premiered original works in South Florida, and has been praised by South Florida Classical Review for his “attractive, sizeable tenor” and compelling dramatic skill.

His operatic credits include appearances with Florida Grand Opera (Salome, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Norma), FIU Opera Theater (Doña Francisquita, L’étoile, Street Scene), Gulfshore Opera, and Opera Fusion, including a featured role in the world premiere of Not In My Town. He has been praised for his vocal power and stage presence by outlets including The Palm Beach Arts Paper, El Nuevo Herald, and South Florida Classical Review. On the concert stage, he has performed major works such as Handel’s Messiah and Mozart’s Missa Solemnis, and he holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in Vocal Performance from Florida International University and Florida Atlantic University.
